The letter Taa’ isn’t equivalent to any of the English letters.
However, it is close in pronunciation to the letter T in English but it is a
forceful sound. To pronounce it properly, put the tip of your tongue between
your teeth, and pull the middle section down. Apply air pressure against your
teeth and let it out forcefully. To help, try imagining Taa’ like a pressuring

group) shows letters that can be connected from both sides. Some Arabic
letters can only connect themselves from the right side (1st group).

As shown in the video, this is the shape of the letter Taa’ standing alone. The
form of the letter Taa’ changes depending on where it appears in a word. So, we
can have it either at the beginning of the word (initial), middle of the word
(medial), or ending of the word (final). But firstly, notice that the letter
Taa’ is easy to write and it looks like a horizontal balloon with a straight
line drawn on top. If it is standing alone, it looks like this “ط.”
